OUTDOOR KITCHENS

thumbnail

What is the best way to make an outside patio functional? The answer is without a doubt: A kitchen or a grill.

Outdoor kitchens have endless designs available to you. From small brick and stone grills to full size structures that can add fridges, sinks, pizza ovens and much more.

These stone structures are rather difficult to build. And the same way we suggest that some projects can be build by the home owner, we also need to say that there is too much specialized work involved here for an inexperienced person to attempt it.

To build a simple grill, we usually pour a concrete footer that will hold its weight. After that, a concrete block core is installed and then the selected stone is placed as a veneer.
The grill itself can be a drop in unit or it can be made out of bricks for a more rustic look.

This is a broad overview of a few pointers and uses for different Outside Stone Kitchens. There are many details and techniques that are not explained here. If you need a professional to install or just help you with your DIY fireplace, gives us a call. We offer free estimates for all Montgomery County, Maryland!!
